The GTX 1080 is generally considered faster than the GTX 980ti, as it is a newer and more powerful graphics card. In terms of breaking down, the GTX 980ti is not necessarily more prone to breaking faster than the GTX 1080. The lifespan and durability of a graphics card depend on various factors such as usage, temperature, and maintenance rather than just the model itself. **

The GTX 1080 is generally faster than the GTX 980ti, as it is a newer and more powerful graphics card. In terms of reliability and breakdown, there is no definitive evidence to suggest that the GTX 980ti breaks down faster than the GTX 1080. Both cards are designed to be durable and reliable, and the lifespan of a graphics card can vary depending on usage, maintenance, and other factors. **

The GTX 980ti does not natively support Freesync, as it is an AMD technology. However, some Freesync monitors may still work with the GTX 980ti, but without the variable refresh rate feature. One example of a Freesync monitor that is compatible with the GTX 980ti is the ASUS MG278Q. This monitor has a 144Hz refresh rate and a 2560x1440 resolution, making it a good option for gaming with the GTX 980ti, even without utilizing the Freesync feature. **

Yes, the i5 12400f is compatible with the GTX 980ti. The i5 12400f is a 12th generation Intel processor that uses the LGA 1700 socket, while the GTX 980ti is a graphics card that uses a PCIe 3.0 x16 interface. Both of these components are compatible with each other and can be used together in a gaming or productivity PC build. However, it's important to ensure that the motherboard being used supports both the CPU and GPU. **

To determine if your power supply is sufficient for the Asus GTX 980ti, you need to check the recommended power supply wattage for the graphics card. The Asus GTX 980ti typically requires a minimum power supply of 600W. Make sure your power supply meets or exceeds this requirement to ensure stable and reliable performance of the graphics card. It's also important to consider the power draw of other components in your system to ensure overall power supply capacity is adequate. **

The main difference between the GTX 980ti and the GTX 1070 is their architecture and performance. The GTX 1070 is based on the newer Pascal architecture, which offers better performance and power efficiency compared to the Maxwell architecture of the GTX 980ti. The GTX 1070 also has more CUDA cores and higher clock speeds, resulting in better overall performance and support for newer technologies such as VR and 4K gaming. Overall, the GTX 1070 is a more powerful and efficient graphics card compared to the GTX 980ti. **

At prices of 200 and 300 euros, the old graphics cards 980ti and 1080ti can still be worth it for certain users. While they may not be able to handle the latest games at maximum settings, they can still provide good performance for older or less demanding titles. Additionally, they can be a cost-effective option for users on a budget who are looking to upgrade from an older or integrated graphics card. However, it's important to consider the condition and warranty of the cards before making a purchase, as well as the potential for future compatibility with new software and games. **

It is highly unlikely that the GTX 980ti will be available for 100 euros in 2023. As technology advances, older graphics cards tend to increase in value due to their rarity and demand from collectors or individuals looking for budget-friendly options. Additionally, the GTX 980ti was a high-end graphics card when it was released, so its price is unlikely to drop significantly in the future. **
